Why Lucion?

In the last three years we have acquired 5 businesses. In 2024, all the great companies that make up the Lucion Group community will be coming together into a single brand identity, Lucion. 

When we launched Lucion in 2003, we created this brand name because it means to illuminate (luc) and take action (ion). This is still relevant to all the services we offer today across our Group of companies, and to our purpose: protecting people and planet.

How Will This Affect Clients?

All our companies are coming together to become Lucion. Under Lucion, we will operate subsidiary reference brands that reflect our service offerings. 

All of our people, including your regular points of contact will very much still be here, they will simply be moving across to our new ‘Lucion’ brand. This structural change will open up fantastic growth and development opportunities, and we will not be downsizing as part of these processes. 

Will Lucion Personnel Change?

No. Our people are at the heart of our decision to merge all of our brands together into Lucion. Acquiring 5 companies in the past 3 years has brought multiple processes and cultures under one roof. We want our team to work seamlessly. By rebradning our acquisitions to come under our group Lucion brand, we aim to foster an inclusive culture and facilitate a sense of belonging throughout our company.

To help facilitate our teams growth, we will be introducing new opportunities for career development and training in all areas of our business.

Will This Affect Financial Processes?

Yes, there will be a small change – the name of the company. 

You’ll start to see invoices and purchase orders with the new name, but all other details remain the same, including the bank account details.

We have grown significantly over the last three years, and it has always been part of our growth plan to bring all our acquired businesses together under one brand whilst continuing to represent the individual service delivery groups.
